We are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious Pre-sales Engineer to support to our sales team. You will help to assess our customers’ challenges and needs, and then design tailored solutions using our product portfolio.

Key day-to-day responsibilities

• Work with Sales to identify, qualify and prioritise customer opportunities and presales engagements.
• Customer visits and site surveys.
• Direct engagement with customers.
• Provide accurate handover information to sales and the technical delivery teams, inclusive of technical architecture documentation, bill of materials and a professional services breakdown.
• Understand and complete technical aspects in proposal documentation, RFIs, RFPs, ITTs and presentations.
• Test new products and services.
• Support other Silver Cloud teams.
• Proof-of-concept development.

• Account management. Work closely with key customers to build a trusting relationship. Take a strategic approach to developing and growing accounts.

• Highly motivated: setting and achieving challenging goals.
• A full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Experience of working in an IT service provider/re-seller environment.
• Professional certifications (eg. Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, VCP-DCV).

Hours

37.5 hours per week. The working hours are normally Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, with an hour for lunch.
